When you book me for your birthday party, you can expect a lot of energy and laughter! Your birthday boy or girl is the Star of the Show and its my absolute priority to make sure they have a great day! They are invited to join me if they want to and can help with my magic. Their friends will be amazed!
I have such a lot of fun myself and its great to hear the response of a room full of boys and girls enjoying themselves. I can perform for part of your party or make the entire event stress free for you by running the whole party. Then you get to relax and enjoy the show too! You want your child to take away special memories of their birthday so its important to book a professional, experienced performer and not a part-timer.

Malcolm’s Children’s Magic Show
My 45 minute/one hour magic show is ideal for all ages. The show is a great length if you have very young children with a smaller attention span or if you have other plans during your party, such as a face painter or games of your own. I can perform at any point in your party so whatever fits in with you is fine with me. The show has lots of audience participation with the children really getting involved and interactive. Lets not forget the great magic, of course! I perform lots of funny and amazing tricks which the birthday boy or girl can come and help me with. The show contains balloon modelling, lots of colour and non-stop fun and laughter to keep children of all ages enthralled. As one of my clients commented…’He does PROPER magic!
Malcolm’s Roadshow
My fun-filled 2 hour show is also suitable for all ages and is a great way to relieve the pressure on you! I can take control of the party and make sure the children have a wonderful time from start to finish. This show also gets the children fully involved, has wonderful magic tricks and balloon modelling. The birthday boy or girls gets a special balloon model and all the guests take home a balloon of their own. We also play games and have a wonderful party disco. This is my most popular show! You take care of the food and the venue – I will cover everything else.
Example of a typical running order for a party from 11am – 1pm:
- 11.00 – Background music playing whilst children arrive so we can get them settled and ready for the show. I will be there to ensure they are welcomed and settled down.
- 11.10 -12.00 – Magic Show – The fun begins!
- 12.00 – 12.20 – Party food & birthday cake. I will be mixing and mingling with the children as they’re eating – making sure things are running smoothly and making balloons at the same time. During this break we will be singing ‘Happy Birthday’. I have the birthday music for this so will organise that for you.
- 12.20 – 1.00 – Party dances, competitions, games and a disco finale.
- 1.00 – Children leave with a balloon model.
Malcolm’s 90 Minute Show
A 90 minute show which includes all of the items in Option 2 but without a break for food. You would then serve the children their party food for the last half hour of the party. Typically, I would finish with the birthday cake and the guests singing ‘Happy Birthday’. You could then cut up the cake ready for the children to take home whilst everyone is eating.
