Obviously, you want the child to take away special memories of their birthday. Therefore it's important to book a professional, experienced performer and not a part-timer. Malcolm’s Children’s Magic Show
A 45 minute/one hour magic show is ideal for all ages. The show is a great length if you have very young children with a smaller attention span. Also, if you have other party plans (face painter/own games), this works well. This performance can take place at any point in your party.
Undeniably, this show has lots of audience participation with the children really getting involved. Obviously, let's not forget the great magic! Lots of funny and amazing tricks are performed which the birthday boy or girl can come and help with. In addition, balloon modelling, lots of colour and non-stop fun and laughter keeps children of all ages enthralled. As one of my clients commented… "He does PROPER magic!"

Malcolm’s 90 Minute Children's Show
The 90 minute show includes all of the items in Option 3 (2hr Party Roadshow) but without a break for food. Lastly, children receive their food (final half hour of the party). Typically, the party would finish with the birthday cake and guests singing ‘Happy Birthday’. Birthday cake can then be cut up ready for the children to take home whilst everyone is eating.

Malcolm’s Roadshow
This fun-filled 2 hour show (suitable for all ages) is a great way to relieve the pressure on you! Let me take control of the party and make sure the children have a wonderful time from start to finish. The roadshow also gets the children fully involved, has wonderful magic tricks and balloon modelling.
Birthday boys or girls gets a special balloon model, and guests take home a balloon of their own. There will also be games and a wonderful party disco. This is my most popular show! You take care of the food and the venue – I will cover everything else.
Example party running order 11am – 1pm:
11.00 – Background music playing whilst children arrive. The children will be settled and ready for the show. I will be there to ensure they are welcomed and settled down.
11.10 -12.00 – Magic Show – The fun begins!
12.00 – 12.20 – Party food & birthday cake. I will be mixing and mingling with the children as they’re eating. Everything is done to ensure things are running smoothly and making balloons at the same time. During this break we will be singing ‘Happy Birthday’. The birthday music is organised and supplied for you.
12.20 – 1.00 – Fun dances, competitions, games and a disco finale.
1.00 – Children leave with a balloon model.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS...
Having been inspired by the amazing Paul Daniels, I started performing magic for my friends at senior school and there was nothing else I ever wanted to do! I left school and began working straight away as a magician. Touring around the country with my illusion act and working at holiday parks and leisure centres all over the country was wonderful.

Since those early days, I have provided quality entertainment for No 11 Downing Street, P&O Cruise ships Oriana, Aurora, Ventura, Oceana, Azura, Arvia, Iona & the new flagship, Britannia! I have worked for Channel 4, Breakfast TV, Thorpe Park, Chessington World of Adventures, Fishers Farm Park, and Goodwood Racecourse. Other venues include HMS Nelson, British Telecom, Hilton Park Lane, Landmark, Dorchester & De Vere Hotels.
I have entertained at my own theatre shows in West Sussex and Hampshire and have worked with some great names in show business. These include Bob Monkhouse, Tom O’Connor, Les Dennis, Johnny Vaughan, Chris Evans & Denise Van Outen. Supermodel Natalia Vodianova was so impressed when I performed at her eldest son’s birthday party, she asked me to travel to Paris to entertain again!

I have Public Liability Insurance and up to date DBS, and am a member of the Magic Circle and Equity. My equipment is regularly PAT tested. With 30 years of experience and performing an average of 350 shows a year, I am a truly reliable professional.
